    Data Loss

    Cover to repair and restore damaged data and programmes as a result of a cyberattack.

    Business Interruption and Increased Cost of Working

    Cover for loss of business income and extra expenses occurred arising from unauthorised access, operational error, computer virus or a denial of service attack.

    Privacy Liability

    Liability arising from failure to maintain confidentiality of data. For example: employee theft of data, human error, lost laptops or accidentally sending data to the wrong email address. Cover includes the breach of data that is either stored on a network or a third party custodian (i.e. a cloud provider).

    Network Liability

    Liability arising due to failure to protect and secure your network. For example: a system breach resulting in theft of third party data or destruction of data. Cover will include costs associated with regulatory investigations and fees enforced by regulators where allowed.

    Cyber Extortion

    Losses due to a threat of extortion and professional fees related to dealing with the extortion. Cover included extortion money paid to a third party.

    Media Liability

    Liability to third parties for defamation, product disparagement or infringement of intellectual property rights.

    Cover included the expenses to respond to adverse or unfavourable publicity.

    Notification Costs

    Costs to notify customers of a suspected or confirmed breach.
